You leave in the morning for this 5-day Agadir tour to Erg Chigaga desert.

On the itinerary of this first day you visit:

The town of Taroudant is very beautiful. A great wall around the city extends over 6 km. The ramparts of Taroudant have 130 towers. You enter the city through one of its Moorish architecture gates. Taroudant is the “little Marrakech” because of its ocher ramparts and the lively medina and souk.

Taliouine is a town about a hundred kilometers from Taroudant. This is the region of the saffron. This is why Taliouine is called “the capital of saffron” in Morocco.

You will stop at Tazenakht for lunch. Then, you continue towards Foum Zguid which is at the gates of the desert. This is where you spend the first night.

2nd day of the Agadir desert tour 5 days : night in Erg Chigaga

After breakfast at Foum Zguid, you leave for the high dunes of Erg Chigaga. This Agadir desert tour lets you discover pretty landscapes in the Sahara. In fact, you take the track in the desert to arrive at Erg Chigaga. You pass by Lake Iriqui.

Arrival at Erg Chigaga around noon. You enjoy a lunch in a desert camp. In the afternoon, time to relax at the camp. Afterwards you go for a camel tour for the sunset. In the evening, the camp comes festive with the music of the nomads. A delicious dinner is served on site. You will spend the night in a tent.

3rd day of this Sahara tour from Agadir: night in Agdz

Your 5-day Agadir tour continues. After the night in Erg Chigaga, it is time to leave for the village of M’hamid where we find the asphalt road. On the way, you pass by the Sacred Oasis.

Once M’hamid has passed, you advance towards Tamegrout, where you will make a stop. In Tamegrout, we visit the green pottery workshops and the Kasbah. The 5-day Agadir to Erg Chigaga desert tour continues towards Zagora where you will stop for lunch.

After this break, we go back to the Drâa Valley to Agdz. The Drâa Valley is very beautiful with its palm grove and its villages typical of southern Morocco. You make stops for panoramic views. This day ends in Agdz, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad in the Oasis.

4th day of the 5-day Agadir tour: night in Aït Ben Haddou

In the morning, you leave Agdz towards Ouarzazate. The road passes through the Anti-Atlas Mountains.

In Ouarzazate, you can visit the city’s Kabah and the film studios. Lunch is planned in the town of Ouarzazate.

In the afternoon, the journey takes you to Aït Ben Haddou. Firstly, you enjoy a visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou with a local guide. After that, dinner and night stay in a typical South Morocco riad in Aït Ben Haddou.

5th day of the Agadir to Erg Chigaga trip

The last day of the 5-day desert trip from Agadir is dedicated to the return. After breakfast in Agdz, you take the road to Tazenakht where you can visit a carpet manufacturing cooperative.

Lunch is planned in Taliouine, before continuing towards Taroudant and Agadir. Arrival late in the afternoon.
