3rd day of this 6-day Marrakech Sahara tour – night in Zagora

The 3rd day of your 4×4 Marrakech desert trip 6 days to Merzouga and Erg Chigaga takes you in the direction of Zagora.

On the program of this Sahara desert safari, incredible views on the journey from Erg Chebbi to N’Kob. You pass through Alnif and Tazarine. The desert landscapes in South Morocco are magnificent. Enjoy lunch in N’Kob. Take the opportunity to see the breathtaking view of the palm grove. In the afternoon, you continue the trip to Zagora. Here, you will spend a night in a charming riad.

4th day: Zagora – night in Erg Chigaga desert camp

During this 6-day Morocco Sahara desert tour from Marrakech, you have the chance to discover the two gateways to the Moroccan desert. After a stop and overnight in Zagora, this tour continues towards the village of M’hamid. A stop is planned at Tamegroute to see the beautiful green pottery and the underground Kasbah. An hour later, you arrive at the last village before the desert. This is where the asphalt road ends. You are in the Sahara desert again. Here the dunes are not very high but the desert is as far as the eye can see.

You continue on the track to the large dunes of Erg Chigaga where you will spend the night in bivouac. Enjoy sunset in the Moroccan desert, sandsurf and a camel tour. On the next day, you can see the sunrise from the dunes near the Sahara camp.

5th day : from Erg Chigaga dunes to Aït Ben Haddou

After enjoying a night in camp in Chegaga, you take a camel ride in the morning. Then, your Marrakech desert tour takes you back on the track in the Sahara. This time it is about going up from Erg Chigaga towards Foum Zguid via the Lake Iriqui. New desert landscapes can be discovered here during this Morocco desert safari. After Foum Zguid, we stop in the town of Tazenakht for lunch. In the afternoon, you arrive at Aït Ben Haddou in the vicinity of Ouarzazate. Night in a charming riad.

6th day: visit to Aït Ben Haddou and return to Marrakech
